Job Requirements

  • associate degree or equivalent experience
  • culinary or kitchen management experience
  • knowledge of food cost controls and production
  • experience with catering
  • familiarity with food safety standards
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • servsafe certification preferred

  • catering experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and catering trends
  • experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • institutional and batch cooking experience
  • proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • servsafe certified highly desirable
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • assist executive chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
  • assist executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly associates
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • support client satisfaction programs and activities
