Job Requirements

  • Degree in culinary arts preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years kitchen supervisory or culinary leadership experience
  • ServSafe certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Google Suite tools
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday morning shifts
  • Ability to manage food and labor costs
  • Experience with food safety and allergen management
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to champion and enhance a culture focused on food and workplace safety
  • Degree in culinary arts preferred or equivalent substantial professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years kitchen supervisory or culinary leadership experience in a similar volume, high-quality food service establishment
  • Meaningful passion for exceptional food and genuine hospitality
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to inspire and guide a team
  • Proficient in computer and technical skills including Google Suite
  • Experience managing in a union environment is a plus
  • ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Lead food and workplace safety with rigorous management of standards including allergen management
  • Execute the culinary vision by refining culinary offerings with precision and creativity
  • Ensure operational flow by adhering to menu, production, and preparation guidelines including opening and closing checklists
  • Prepare and present balanced meals that fuel and delight users
  • Champion exceptional hospitality by maintaining friendly and engaging service
  • Develop team talent through training, coaching, and fostering continuous learning
  • Support sustainable sourcing by aligning ingredient procurement with sector and food purchasing standards
