Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience or completion of a culinary apprenticeship or certification
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
  • Proven leadership skills in a kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of commercial cooking experience or culinary apprenticeship or certification from a recognized culinary school
  • Solid knowledge of food hygiene regulations (HACCP) and best kitchen practices
  • Ability to manage food costs, control stock levels, minimize waste, and operate within budget
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, train, and guide kitchen teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Job Duties

  • Execute and supervise food production activities such as cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking
  • Assume responsibilities of Executive Chef when unavailable including menu presentations and team leadership
  • Supervise, coordinate, and control kitchen helpers in food storage and tidiness
  • Conduct, coordinate, and supervise inventories
  • Monitor material consumption and order necessary food and equipment daily
  • Participate in development of food products and menus for presentations
  • Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards and enforce HACCP regulations
