Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Valid Food Handlers card
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- Commitment to upholding luxury hospitality standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Sous Chef or equivalent culinary leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for fine dining and luxury hospitality
- Valid Food Handlers card
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus
Job Duties
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff in culinary techniques and safety standards
- Collaborate with the Culinary Director to develop and refine menus
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet upscale standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Support catering services and special event culinary needs
