Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • Commitment to upholding luxury hospitality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Sous Chef or equivalent culinary leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Passion for fine dining and luxury hospitality
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff in culinary techniques and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Director to develop and refine menus
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet upscale standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Support catering services and special event culinary needs
