Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary experience in a leadership capacity
- ability to work Tuesday through Saturday with possible weekend and evening shifts
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- valid food handler certification
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties

- experience as a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
- knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for older adults
- strong culinary skills and creativity
- leadership and team management abilities
- familiarity with health and safety standards

Job Duties
- support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations
- mentor and train culinary staff
- prepare high-quality hot and cold meals
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- contribute to menu development and recipe refinement
- manage food inventory and minimize waste
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
