Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a professional kitchen
- Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment and food safety practices
- Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and excellent organization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to stay calm and adapt under pressure
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties
- Supervise and lead line and prep cooks during prep and service
- Ensure team follows all recipes, portioning, and plating standards
- Create and manage prep lists to support kitchen efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on food presentation and flavor
- Oversee daily cleaning, sanitation checklists, and compliance with health codes
- Support menu planning, seasonal specials, and recipe development with the Executive Chef
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency and promote professional growth
- Enforce kitchen policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist with inventory, ordering, ingredient quality, and waste reduction
- Act as kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef
