Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • experience preparing catered events and special event foods desirable
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with the Operations team and Sales staff in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef to plan, supervise, and execute all banquet functions
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • partner with Kitchen Manager/Chef or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation are always at company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • assist Chef with kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits complying with Department of Health regulations
  • proactively maintain a clean, safe environment at all times
  • report critical issues to General Manager promptly
