Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of food preparation experience in institutional or commercial establishment
  • At least one year supervisory experience
  • ServSafe Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to pass pre-employment skills test
  • Willingness to work 2:00pm-10:30pm shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to comply with health and safety codes and institutional policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in food preparation in institutional or commercial establishment
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience
  • ServSafe Certification accredited by ANSI within 30 days of employment
  • Successful completion of LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs can substitute for supervisory experience
  • Ability to pass pre-employment skills test

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff schedules and training
  • Evaluate staff performance and compliance
  • Oversee all Room Service kitchen operations
  • Administer controls to protect department assets
  • Ensure food controls and quality standards
  • Assist in menu planning and pricing
  • Conduct cost analysis and control expenses
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Conduct weekly inventory and forecast production
