Job Requirements
- Commitment to Touchmark's core values of hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience on a progressive kitchen line
- At least one year in a supervisory role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to maintain positive and professional demeanor
- Availability to work nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in culinary arts preferred
- 3 to 5 years progressive line experience
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience
- Experience as Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine preferred
- Knowledge in catering production
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude in diverse interactions
Job Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff and daily culinary operations
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals in line with dietary requirements and community standards
- Oversee catering production for events and special occasions
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with management to plan menus and control food costs
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Communicate professionally and positively with residents, families, and team members
