Job Requirements

  • Commitment to Touchmark's core values of hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience on a progressive kitchen line
  • At least one year in a supervisory role
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain positive and professional demeanor
  • Availability to work nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in culinary arts preferred
  • 3 to 5 years progressive line experience
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience
  • Experience as Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine preferred
  • Knowledge in catering production
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude in diverse interactions

Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff and daily culinary operations
  • Plan and prepare high-quality meals in line with dietary requirements and community standards
  • Oversee catering production for events and special occasions
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Collaborate with management to plan menus and control food costs
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Communicate professionally and positively with residents, families, and team members
