Job Requirements

  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Treat guests and team members with respect and care
  • Operate with integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull equipment up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
  • Willing to adhere to hotel dress and grooming standards
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent hospitality experience
  • Previous experience as a cook or sous chef or related position
  • Food handling certification (ServSafe)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to menu
  • Supervise culinary staff during shifts
  • Ensure food quality and safety standards
  • Assist in menu planning and inventory management
  • Train and develop junior kitchen team members
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Act as liaison between Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and kitchen staff
