Job Requirements
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Treat guests and team members with respect and care
- Operate with integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull equipment up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Willing to adhere to hotel dress and grooming standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent hospitality experience
- Previous experience as a cook or sous chef or related position
- Food handling certification (ServSafe)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to menu
- Supervise culinary staff during shifts
- Ensure food quality and safety standards
- Assist in menu planning and inventory management
- Train and develop junior kitchen team members
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Act as liaison between Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and kitchen staff
