Job Requirements
- Must possess a high degree of knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operation, sanitation, leadership skills and supervisory abilities
- Must be a graduate of an approved culinary school
- Advance degree is a plus as is ACF certification
- Must possess a desire for exceptional quality and have the highest concern for customer satisfaction, food quality and presentation
- Minimum five years of experience in high quality restaurant environment
- Computer literate, i.e., Windows XP, Word and Excel
- Good communication skills a must
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to coach, mentor and guide associates
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved culinary school
- Minimum five years of experience in a high quality restaurant environment
- Computer literate including Windows XP, Word, and Excel
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to coach, mentor, and guide associates

Job Duties
- Supervise department staff and coordinate with other sous chefs to maintain a successful culinary department
- Oversee the production of all menu items in the assigned area with attention to detail
- Manage labor and food costs of the department
- Ensure proper production of food focusing on quantity, quality, and food usage
- Manage waste effectively
- Monitor product inventories
- Ensure food availability at appropriate times
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with sanitation codes of the kitchen
- Train staff in proper seasoning and preparation of food
- Assist other food and beverage outlets as needed
- Communicate with Executive Chef regarding day-to-day staff, equipment, and food issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned
