Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • serveSafe certification preferred
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • direct and support day-to-day operations and supervise food production and sanitation staff
  • assist with hiring and training new kitchen staff
  • fulfill daily duties in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage kitchen opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
  • participate in inventory management and development of par sheets
  • place food and supply orders
