Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in catering or fine dining environments
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with varied days and early morning hours
  • Ability to comply with all food safety and sanitation policies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior catering experience
  • Prior fine dining experience
  • Leadership experience in a culinary setting
  • Ability to supervise and train hourly food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and monitor food production and waste

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary recommendations
  • Store food in designated areas adhering to all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Clean workstations thoroughly
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • Track product production, consumption and waste
  • Inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • Perform other duties as assigned
