- proven experience as a sous chef
- ability to execute various cooking methods
- excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- familiarity with industry best practices
- working knowledge of computer software programs including ms office, restaurant management software and pos
- bs degree in culinary science or related certificate preferred

Job Duties
- help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus
- produce high quality plates in both design and taste
- ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- fill in for the executive chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedules and assess staff performance
- comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and residents
