Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • Experience preparing catered events desirable
  • Relevant education or equivalent experience
  • Current ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in absence of Kitchen Manager/Chef
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food program
  • Schedule staff efficiently in response to business volume shifts
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager/Chef or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Assist Chef in managing kitchen equipment maintenance and Department of Health regulations through sanitation audits
  • Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment at all times
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
