Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit & loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food program
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Assist Chef with managing kitchen equipment maintenance and compliance with local Department of Health regulations
  • Conduct sanitation audits and ensure a clean, safe working environment
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
