Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or related training equivalent in hospitality or restaurant industry
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in luxury brand markets preferred
- Food Safety Manager Certification preferred or required within 30 days
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Physical ability to move weights up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work varying schedules exceeding 40 hours
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication abilities
Job Qualifications

- Ability to maintain and build client and industry relationships
- Proficient in preparing a wide range of culinary offerings
Job Duties
- Maintain a file of recipes including ingredients, portions, and preparation instructions
- Assist the Executive Chef in developing menus, recipe cards, and specifications
- Set standards and methods for portion control with consideration of perceived value
- Ensure consistent adherence to all recipes
- Assume kitchen responsibility in the Executive Chef's absence
- Monitor inventory daily to maintain proper levels and quality
- Manage food and labor costs within budget guidelines
- Arrange training for staff on equipment use and cleaning
- Organize monthly kitchen meetings
- Participate in performance appraisals and progressive discipline
- Assist Executive Chef in staff development and coaching
- Attend manager and mandatory meetings
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization standards
- Complete daily kitchen walkthroughs
- Assist with food cost tracking and monthly inventory
