Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef
- Ability to execute various cooking methods
- Experience working with a variety of ingredients, equipment and cooking procedures
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS
- BS degree in Culinary Science or related certificate would be a plus

Job Duties
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus
- Produce high quality plates in both design and taste
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Establish working schedules
- Assess staff performance
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and residents
