Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of progressive experience in hotel food and beverage or related service industry
- Culinary degree preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform essential functions for eight-plus hours
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain kitchen equipment and ensure safety compliance
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of progressive experience in hotel food and beverage or related service industry
- Culinary degree with 2 or more years of progressive experience in hotel food and beverage or related service industry
- Experienced in high volume catering with top hotel brands and fine dining
- Proven leadership and managerial skills
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and commitment to culinary development
- Strong creativity and service skills
- Computer literate
Job Duties
- Oversee and direct the efficient operation of all food production areas
- Supervise and support the preparation of menu items according to standardized recipes
- Ensure food safety protocols and sanitation standards are maintained
- Schedule and train kitchen staff ensuring proper uniform and conduct
- Assist Outlet-Restaurant Manager and Banquet Manager in daily and weekly duties
- Manage food and beverage services for conventions and group activities
- Promote teamwork within the kitchen department and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
