Job Requirements

  • Valid King County Food Handler Permit
  • Valid ServSafe Managers Certificate
  • Completion of Learn, Legal, and Privacy courses required by Meta
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters, and/or regular COVID-19 testing as required at this location
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical tasks including lifting 10-40 lbs, standing for long periods, and frequent movement between kitchen environments
  • Strong sensory abilities including vision, hearing, taste, and touch
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary school degree or applicable college degree
  • Minimum of three years relative experience in kitchen and operations management in a full-service, moderate to high volume restaurant, club, or catering establishment
  • Solid track record of success in previous assignments and operations
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
  • Experience with menu planning and recipe development
  • Knowledge of food quality, sanitation, and cost control standards

Job Duties

  • Support daily food prep and service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts alongside Senior and Junior Chefs
  • Ensure tasks stay on track, offer hands-on support during production, and collaborate with Pastry and Front of House teams
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal planning, and equipment training
  • Lead by example and help grow our team through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing feedback
  • Participate in daily pre-shift and weekly menu meetings, manage performance reviews and goal setting, and assist in hiring
  • Ensure consistent quality and safety by upholding recipes, portioning, and plating standards
  • Oversee food storage, cleanliness, kitchen organization, and conduct internal audits
  • Handle scheduling, ordering, team communications, and maintain inventory and budget control
  • Support cost control efforts and compliance with health and safety regulations
