Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
  • Current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow as related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in absence of the Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • Estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • Schedule staff efficiently based on business volume
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster a team environment
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Assist Chef with kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits to comply with Department of Health regulations
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment consistently
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
