Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen
Experience ideally within a seafood restaurant
Able to stand and move at a fast pace for up to four hours
Capable of lifting pots, pans, and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds
Proficient in English communication

Job Qualifications

Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
Excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills
Able to listen attentively and communicate clearly with kitchen team members, dining room team, and managers
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
Two or more years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen required, ideally within a seafood restaurant
High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

Supervise and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and dish room during your shift while maintaining cost efficiency
Oversee kitchen team members to ensure adherence to established procedures and quality standards
Assign stations to the kitchen team at the start of the shift
Oversee training, cross-training, interviewing, and scheduling of assigned positions
May assume all duties of the Chef in their absence
