Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of culinary management or lead kitchen experience
- Ability to motivate and direct employees
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work all kitchen stations
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Current Food Handlers and ServSafe permits
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume, full-service BOH managerial or lead line roles such as Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine
- Experience in fine dining is a strong plus
- Ability to motivate and direct staff while adhering to established standards
- Skilled in adapting to changing restaurant needs
- Problem-solving skills with creativity
- Proficiency in all kitchen stations including sautee, grill, pantry, pastry, and prep
- Results-driven with focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Flexible schedule accommodating nights, weekends, and holidays
- Expertise in modern and classical New American cuisine
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Current Food Handlers and ServSafe permits
Job Duties
- Manage food cost targets
- Oversee inventory management
- Train and mentor back-of-house employees
- Supervise food preparation and execution
