They will also promote safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines, to guarantee food safety and sanitation. The Sous Chef has a critical role in fostering communication and positive relations within the kitchen staff, helping to resolve conflicts and motivate team members through coaching and mentorship.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with hiring decisions, conducting performance reviews, and managing incentive programs that encourage employee development. HMSHost emphasizes career growth and offers its team members exciting training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and be proficient in managing a high-volume kitchen environment while maintaining excellent food quality and customer service standards.

Overall, joining HMSHost as a Sous Chef means becoming part of a dynamic and innovative company that values its people and offers a rewarding career path with extensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, meal and transportation benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
