Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision
- Certified in Serve Safe Management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary culinary training preferred
- Brand certification a plus
- 3 to 5 years experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision
- Serve Safe Management certification
- Demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- Ability to motivate and coach others
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist in supervising day to day activities of kitchen staff
- Assign responsibilities and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
- Promote safety and sanitation and inspect food handling
- Assist with menu planning, inventory, and managing supplies
- Maintain effective cost control, service, and quality standards
- Comply with company and franchise standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide recommendations for hiring, firing, and advancement
- Maintain communication and positive associate relations
- Provide highest quality customer service and ensure proper staff training
