Their approach to hotel management is people-centric, focusing on building a team-oriented environment where every employee can thrive and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The company’s dedication to quality, professionalism, and innovation makes it a preferred employer in the hospitality industry.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team and support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations. This full-time role carries substantial responsibility in upholding food quality, presentation, and safety standards that align with the high expectations of our hotel guests. As the Sous Chef, you will be the right hand to our Executive Chef, assisting in the creation of exceptional dining experiences by overseeing kitchen staff, preparing menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols. This role requires a candidate who is not only skilled and experienced in culinary arts but also possesses creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for food and hospitality. You will play a vital role in maintaining the kitchen environment as safe, clean, and compliant with health regulations. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential due to the nature of the hospitality industry. Working at HVMG means joining a company that values warm professionalism, a positive attitude, and a dedication to the Culture of Excellence, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service and every employee has the support to succeed in their career.

HVMG values education and experience in its candidates, with special consideration given to those holding culinary diplomas or certifications. Hotel experience is considered a plus, adding valuable insight into the fast-paced and customer-focused hospitality environment. This position also requires the physical ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed. To succeed in this role, you must be eligible to work in the United States and have sufficient literacy to read product labels and communicate effectively with team members and guests. A warm, approachable demeanor coupled with strong leadership qualities is essential for thriving in this fast-moving kitchen setting.

Joining HVMG as a Sous Chef means enjoying numerous benefits that enhance both your professional and personal life. These benefits include career growth opportunities across a nationwide portfolio, flexible scheduling to help balance work and life commitments, access to a pay-on-demand program called PayActive allowing access to earned wages before payday, paid time off and holidays, comprehensive healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period. Additionally, associates enjoy exclusive discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage services.
