Job Requirements
- Two years of culinary experience
- One year of culinary experience in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification if not already certified
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Two years of culinary experience
- One year of culinary experience in a long-term care setting
- Certified Dietary Manager preferred or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong culinary skills including baking, grilling, and stove-top cooking
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and projects
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to high food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Perform all types of food preparation including baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking
- Clean and maintain the kitchen environment
- Oversee kitchen staff abilities and progress
- Manage kitchen projects and special events
- Handle inventory management
- Oversee kitchen functions in the absence of the Dietitian
- Ensure quality control of food preparation and presentation
