Job Requirements

  • Formal culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a high-volume healthcare foodservice environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Commitment to uphold food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to participate in client satisfaction initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience a plus
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, and the Internet
  • ServSafe certified is highly desirable
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
