We are currently seeking an experienced sous chef to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for motivated kitchen operators with a passion for high-volume, scratch-made cooking and delivering top-quality dishes. The position requires an individual who embodies high energy, self-motivation, and a dedication to authentic hospitality, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently at all times. The sous chef will work closely with restaurant managers to oversee all food and beverage service aspects, maintaining the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and culinary excellence.

This opportunity offers a competitive salary ranging from $52,000 to $65,000 per year, with additional monthly profit-sharing potential. The sous chef will be entrusted with managing all aspects of kitchen operations, providing support during shifts, maintaining food quality while managing waste, scheduling employees, overseeing inventory and purchasing, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations, and training hourly personnel. This multifaceted responsibility requires strong leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of kitchen experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
  • Experience in leading and supervising hourly team members
  • Experience working within budget parameters
  • Knowledge of scheduling and restaurant software programs
