Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- minimum 4 years of relevant culinary or food and beverage experience
- or associate degree in culinary arts or related field
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- capability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- commitment to upholding company policies and standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- assists in developing, designing, or creating new culinary applications and products
- supports supervision of kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all food and beverage policies
- manages food purchasing, receiving, and storage standards
- enforces food handling and sanitation regulations
- performs duties of kitchen managers and associates as necessary
- estimates daily kitchen production needs and communicates them to staff
- assists executive chef with all kitchen operations
- recognizes and ensures superior quality products, presentation, and flavor
- complies with all local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA and health department
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment and reports malfunctions
- prepares and cooks foods for regular service and special functions
- checks quality of raw and cooked food products
- leads kitchen shifts while personally preparing food
- sets positive example for guest relations and handles guest problems
- trains associates in safety procedures
- utilizes labor management system for scheduling and tracking
- participates in kitchen and hotel meetings and communicates operational information
- fosters mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among kitchen team
- communicates performance expectations and recognizes success
- advocates sound financial and business decision-making
