Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a sous chef or culinary leader preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Ability to supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for nutrition and high-quality food service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or culinary leader preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Hands-on leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop culinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Support daily food production and service across patient, retail, and catering operations in a healthcare environment
  • Assist with menu execution, recipe compliance, and quality control
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards including HACCP and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations
  • Help manage inventory, food costs, and waste reduction while maintaining high service standards
