Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a sous chef or culinary leader preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Ability to supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for nutrition and high-quality food service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or culinary leader preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
- Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Hands-on leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop culinary teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for delivering nutritious, high-quality food that supports patient care and guest satisfaction

Job Duties
- Support daily food production and service across patient, retail, and catering operations in a healthcare environment
- Assist with menu execution, recipe compliance, and quality control
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards including HACCP and regulatory compliance
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations
- Help manage inventory, food costs, and waste reduction while maintaining high service standards
