Job Description

Sonic Drive-In, operated by KBP Drive-In under the KBP Brands umbrella, is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain known for serving up classic American snacks and drinks in a unique drive-in setting. With over 1,000 locations across more than 30 states, Sonic Drive-In has established itself as a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, offering a diverse menu that includes mouthwatering burgers, hot dogs, crispy fries, and a variety of refreshing beverages. The company prides itself on not just providing food but creating memorable experiences for its customers by combining delicious offerings with exceptional service in a fun and energetic environment.

KBP Drive-In, as part of KBP Brands, has built a reputation as a leading restaurant franchise group with a clear vision to be a great place to work, a great place to eat, and a great place to own. This vision has propelled the company to impressive growth over the past two decades, emphasizing inclusion, growth, and a positive work culture. As a company that values entrepreneurial spirit and offers countless opportunities for personal, professional, and financial development, KBP Drive-In invites candidates who share these values to become part of their expanding team.

The role of a Team Member at Sonic Drive-In is integral to bringing the brand's menu to life and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied with not only the food but the overall dining experience. Team Members may take on various positions, including Carhop, Cook, Fountain attendant, or general Crew Member. Each position plays a vital part in the restaurant's smooth operation, requiring individuals who are energetic, customer-focused, and adaptable. The Team Member is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service, preparing orders accurately and promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and contributing to a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Sonic Drive-In is committed to supporting its Team Members with paid training that equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Employees enjoy shift meal discounts, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and the ability to earn and use paid time off (PTO). Additionally, the company offers training and coaching programs designed to help employees develop their careers within the organization. A unique benefit for the team is access to KBP Cares, a nonprofit initiative supporting employees during unforeseen hardships, demonstrating the company’s commitment to employee well-being beyond the workplace.

This position is open to individuals who are at least 15 years old and have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. While no previous experience is required, having a background in customer service, cash handling, food safety, or the fast-food industry can be advantageous. Physical stamina is also necessary, as Team Members must be able to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk throughout their shifts, navigate tight spaces safely, and operate various restaurant equipment.

Joining Sonic Drive-In means becoming a part of a dynamic team dedicated to exceptional service and quality food, within a company that values growth, inclusion, and career advancement. Whether you are starting your first job or looking for a place to grow within the food service industry, Sonic Drive-In offers an inviting work environment with plenty of opportunities to thrive and make an impact.
