Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years sommelier or wine steward experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Exceptional knowledge of wine and beverage service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry moderate weight
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide expert wine recommendations to guests enhancing their dining experience
  • Curate and maintain a diverse and high-quality wine list
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to create exceptional food and wine pairings
  • Educate guests and staff on wine selections and proper service techniques
  • Manage inventory and procurement of wine to ensure availability and quality
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any wine-related concerns promptly
  • Participate in training programs to continually improve knowledge and skills
