Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during shifts
- Trustworthy and possess integrity
- Basic communication skills
- Minimum one year experience in food and beverage operations preferred
- Prior experience with micros or other systems a plus
- Certificate of completion from the Guild of Sommeliers a plus
- Luxury hotel experience preferred

Job Duties
- Assist in administering sale of beverages in outlet, lounge, and banquet functions
- Teach and mentor bartenders, servers, and other associates involved in alcoholic beverage sales
- Guide guests through the wine list with detailed descriptions and recommendations
- Engage guests in discussions about wine and share insights and anecdotes
- Educate associates about wine regions, grape varietals, flavor profiles, and food pairings through training sessions and tastings
- Conduct associate training on wine service standards including decanting, pouring, and presentation techniques
- Maintain wine cellar in optimal condition maintaining temperature, humidity, and storage
- Conduct inventory audits and track cellar rotation
- Work with restaurant management on beverage costs and pricing
- Maintain wine and cocktail lists with bartenders and beverage managers
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings
- Deliver on guests' expectations to create WOW moments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
