Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Must be able to obtain work documents required for the position such as Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be fluent in English both written and oral

Job Qualifications

At least a Level 2 Sommelier Certificate preferred
At least five years of gourmet food and beverage service experience preferred
Must be 21 years of age
Polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask and take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
Maintains a sense of urgency attitude for task completion
Must be fluent in English both written and oral
Strong interpersonal, communication skills and hospitality driven attitude
Multilingual skills are a plus

Job Duties

Must be all about the team
Must put the guest first
Say yes and thank you often
Maintain proper inventory levels of wines, other beverages and supplies
Order supplies through SW systems
Set up items on Stratton Warren, Purchase, Inventory and Master List
Train employees on wine and beverage service and knowledge
Supervise junior sommeliers on their performance
Enforce proper beverage service standards of all employees during service
Direct and engage in wine service during restaurant service hours
Manage POS systems with pricing and maintenance to ensure checks are processed correctly
Taste and evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase
Maintain professionalism to encourage guest return
Work as a team member assisting all guests and employees' needs and inquiries
Effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff to fulfill and address guest or employee needs
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
