Job Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • Previous experience as a Sommelier, Wine Steward or Hospitality role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
  • Interest in continuing education
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • Previous experience as a Sommelier, wine steward, or hospitality role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • Interest in continuing education and professional development
  • Attention to detail
  • Certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus

Job Duties

  • Educate and guide guests through the wine list
  • Provide expert recommendations on wine pairings with food
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and vineyards
  • Promote and uphold hospitality standards that enhance guest experience
  • Lead by example with honesty and integrity
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth beverage service
  • Manage and adhere to alcohol handling laws and regulations
