Job Requirements

  • strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or hospitality role
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
  • interest in continuing education
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a sommelier or in a related hospitality role
  • strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • detailed knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • interest in continuing education and professional growth
  • certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus

Job Duties

  • educate and guide guests through the wine list
  • share knowledge about wine regions, varietals, and vineyards
  • provide outstanding hospitality that makes guests feel at home
  • lead oneself and others with honesty and integrity
  • maintain comprehensive beverage knowledge including spirits, beer, and cocktails
  • adhere to alcohol handling laws and regulations
  • work effectively in a fast-paced environment
