- Knowledge of beverages on menu, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass

Job Duties
- Maintain expert knowledge of the wine list, wine and food pairings, and train staff on proper pours, storage, and waste reduction
- Handle cash and comps, verify wine deliveries, and manage returns or exchanges as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and workstations, ensuring proper sanitation and functionality
- Manage cellar and storage inventory, place requisitions, maintain stock levels, and control beverage costs
- Develop and enhance the restaurant's wine program through sourcing, evaluation, and collaboration with the wine trade
