The Sommelier role at Valor represents an exciting opportunity to elevate fine dining experiences through expert wine knowledge and exceptional guest engagement. Job Duties

  • Curate maintain and present the wine program with excellence and attention to detail
  • Provide thoughtful wine recommendations tailored to guest preferences menu selections and budget
  • Actively drive wine sales through confident polished and authentic tableside engagement
  • Educate guests and staff on wine regions varietals vintages and pairings
  • Maintain a visible professional and welcoming presence on the dining room floor
  • Collaborate with the culinary and management teams on pairings menu updates and special events
  • Ensure proper storage handling and service of all wines
  • Uphold the highest standards of hospitality professionalism and brand representation
  • Meet and conduct wine tastings with vendors seasonally update wine lists and assist management with ordering of the product
