Job Requirements
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- A genuine passion for providing the highest level of hospitality to all guests
- Must have a flexible schedule, available to work daytime, evening and/or weekend shifts
- Must possess required certifications as mandated by state and local laws
- Health Card or Food Handler certification
- TAM card or Alcohol Awareness for FOH positions
- Sheriff Card for Bartenders and Managers
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience at a high-end, high-volume restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of wine
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Familiarity with Open Table, Toast and CTUIT
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain a professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Steakhouse experience with wine certification preferred
Job Duties
- Continually monitor daily sales, ordering, par levels and costs
- Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels
- Conduct the monthly wine inventory and year end inventory
- Assist with staff training
- Print and maintain all the wine lists needed by the business level
- Coordinate wine up-sell, wine pairing with the service team
- Be accessible and available to employees
- Consistently demonstrate excellent people skills when dealing with employees and guests
