Job Description

Werner Enterprises is a leading transportation and logistics company with a rich history of commitment to its drivers and customers. Founded by a driver, for drivers, Werner has built a strong reputation in the trucking industry based on respect, care, and opportunity for every driver. The company offers a diverse range of career options for both solo and team CDL-A drivers, catering to all levels of experience – from seasoned veterans to recent graduates. Werner boasts a variety of routes including dedicated, over-the-road (OTR), and regional options, providing flexibility to align with drivers' personal and professional goals. Drivers enjoy modern, team-friendly equipment packages, advanced technology, and a supportive work environment dedicated to safety and efficiency. With over 250 home time and pay packages available, Werner prioritizes work-life balance and financial stability for its drivers. The company also runs the Career Track program, designed to help drivers enhance their skills working alongside experienced Driver Leaders, promoting career development and advancement within the company. Werner emphasizes a culture of dignity and respect, supporting drivers with competitive pay, priority load assignments, and opportunities such as the Team Driver Matching Program that considers gender, veteran status, and other preferences to ensure the best possible team fit.

This role focuses on hiring solo and team CDL-A drivers who are eager to join a company that values their contribution and offers multiple earning opportunities. Team drivers can expect to earn from $55,000 to $85,000+ annually, with Team Elite drivers earning between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, enjoying schedules like three weeks out and three days home. Solo drivers have the chance to earn upwards of $75,000, with top performers making between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, especially on dedicated routes. The role promises nearly 90% of trips as drop and hook for expedited freight and guaranteed weekly pay that can reach up to $1,300 on select dedicated accounts. Werner not only provides attractive financial rewards but also ensures drivers have access to versatile home time opportunities such as daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and tri-weekly schedules. Additional benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and tuition reimbursement up to $15,000 for those who qualify. Drivers also gain access to elite veteran programs, military skills test waivers, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. The use of advanced telematics, collision mitigation technology, and driver-friendly navigation systems enhances the driver experience and safety. As an employer deeply committed to the welfare of military veterans, Werner offers a strong employee stock purchase plan and flexible career currency programs to pursue higher education credits. Overall, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for CDL-A drivers seeking a stable and rewarding career with a company that invests heavily in the success and well-being of its drivers.
