With a rich history and strong presence in the trucking industry, Werner provides a wide range of driving opportunities including solo and team routes, over-the-road (OTR), regional, and dedicated routes, accommodating various lifestyle preferences and career goals. The company prides itself on providing advanced technology and late-model equipment, ensuring drivers have the best tools for their safety and success on the road.

Werner is currently hiring Solo and Team CDL-A Drivers with competitive pay packages where more than half of solo drivers earn over $75,000 annually, and the top 25% earn over $85,000. Team drivers can earn between $55,000 and $85,000+ annually, with team elite drivers earning between $90,000 and $110,000 each annually. The company offers multiple route and home time options to fit drivers’ lifestyles, including daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and tri-weekly time off. An impressive 80% of the company's solo drivers get home weekly or better. Werner also guarantees weekly pay up to $1,300 on select dedicated accounts and practices drop and hook expedited freight with nearly 90% of trips falling under this category for team drivers.

The driving roles at Werner are supported by a robust career enhancement program called Career Track, which allows drivers to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced Driver Leaders. Werner also offers a Team Driver Matching Program that considers preferences like gender and veteran status and provides rematching if the initial pairing is not the best fit. The company fosters a respectful environment where drivers receive the employer support and respect they deserve.

As part of the Werner Advantage, drivers enjoy comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, health savings accounts (HSAs), and specialized programs for veterans such as military skills test waivers and elite veteran driver programs. Werner also supports education with a tuition reimbursement program offering up to $15,000 for those who qualify and a Career Currency Program that helps drivers earn graduate or college credit.

Additionally, Werner invests in driver safety and operational efficiency through the use of advanced telematics devices, collision mitigation technology, truck navigation systems, 100% trailer tracking, and 24-hour maintenance assistance. Drivers also have access to a dedicated driver portal and mobile app for greater convenience and communication. Whether you are a seasoned veteran hauling refrigerated freight or just starting your career, Werner offers competitive pay, extensive benefits, and a variety of routes and assignments to fit different career levels and personal needs.
