The dealership is currently seeking a full-time Social Media & Event Coordinator with expertise in all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the Harley-Davidson brand as well as a deep understanding of the motorcycle industry and culture. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the dealership and its community by driving community engagement, increasing brand awareness, and generating excitement through well-coordinated dealership events and strategic digital marketing campaigns. The Social Media & Event Coordinator will collaborate closely with various department heads and the Marketing Director to market dealership events effectively and coordinate event details. Responsibilities also include executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing social media interaction, capturing and editing visual content like photos and videos for promotional use, and ensuring a positive representation of the dealership at every event.
This position is best suited for a creative, organized, and dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has an eye for detail and continuous improvement. It requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage budgets responsibly, and the capability to handle multiple tasks, such as supervising event setups and break downs, handling money during events, and nurturing relationships within the local community. While experience is a plus, it is not mandatory; the company values self-starting leaders who demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. The role demands full availability, including weekends, holidays, and late hours, and a valid driver’s license is required. Although a motorcycle endorsement is not necessary, it is considered a plus.

Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience preferred but not required
- Experience with all social media platforms required
- Must be passionate about the Harley-Davidson brand and have an understanding of the motorcycle industry and culture
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have full availability for work schedule including weekends, holidays, and late hours
- Must be hands on and able to work long hours when required

Job Duties
- Work closely with all Department Heads and Marketing Director to market all Harley-Davidson dealership functions and events
- Coordinate event details with team members in all departments
- Develop plans to drive lead generation and foot traffic with targets, measures and objectives
- Execute marketing strategies to inform, advertise, and attract public interest based on clear guidance from the Marketing Director
- Monitor comments and interact with the social media community
- Capture and edit photos/video for dealership promotions and social media
- Handle money at events and attend to customer needs
- Assist in building positive relationships between the dealership and the community
- Research topics, develop ideas, collaborate with team to that provide exceptional customer experiences
- Manage assigned budgets in a fiscally responsible manner
- Always promote and represent the dealership in a positive, professional way
- Maintain proper care and upkeep of equipment and supplies
- Supervise the setup and breakdown of all events
