The Social Bay Concierge at Dave & Buster's takes on a crucial role in enhancing guest interactions during their visits to the Social Bays, which are designed for fast-paced, interactive gaming fun. This position is focused on delivering exceptional, upbeat customer service by guiding groups in their game selections tailored to the interests and needs of the guests. The Concierge acts as a knowledgeable mentor on game types, sharing tips and techniques to maximize enjoyment and competition. This role demands energetic engagement, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to different guest preferences swiftly. In addition to supervising game play, the Social Bay Concierge collaborates closely with the Service Team to ensure food and beverages are promptly served, maintains cleanliness and setup of the Social Bays, and upholds company policies related to sanitation, alcohol service, and guest safety. The position requires a person who is approachable, proactive in solving guest issues, and skilled at maintaining a lively yet respectful gaming environment.
Work schedules are flexible, with expectations to work days, nights, and weekends in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy setting. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, moving throughout the facility, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds. The role is designed for individuals at least 18 years old who can read and communicate effectively in English and who adhere to the company’s dress code, presenting a neat and professional appearance. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills

- Basic technical troubleshooting skills
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
- Welcome and engage all guests by providing exceptional service that creates unforgettable experiences
- Create an environment of high engagement and fun for guests
- Guide groups of guests through collaborative activities and games
- Be the knowledge master of the game types and provide tips and tricks to the guests to have the best experience
- Understand guest's needs to determine which game(s) is best for the group
- Support guests with any service and basic technical questions
- Alert the amusement team when something beyond basic technical assistance is required
- Partner with the service team to ensure guests receive prompt and attentive beverage and food service
- Complete any required side work to support the set-up and break down of the social bays
- Reset and clean bays to approved standards after use to prepare for next guests
- Adhere to company's sanitation procedures
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- Be skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Be able to read and communicate in English
- Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- Must be at least 18 years of age
