As a Social Bay Concierge at Dave & Buster's, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall guest experience by managing the social bay areas, which are central to the company’s entertainment offerings. This role involves warmly welcoming guests, assisting with game selection and instructions, and ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable visit throughout their stay. The social bay area is designed to be an interactive space where guests can participate in various games and activities while enjoying food and drinks. The Social Bay Concierge acts as the primary point of contact for guests in this lively zone, delivering excellent customer service and intertwining gaming with social engagement.

In this position, you will also handle operational responsibilities such as operating POS (point of sale) systems for ordering and payments, managing cash and credit transactions accurately, and ensuring all social bay-related sales are correctly processed. You will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization, adhering strictly to sanitation and safety protocols, and supporting event setups and breakdowns during busy periods. Additionally, your role includes monitoring guest behavior to maintain a safe environment, following alcohol awareness policies, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons and team members.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • proficiency in operating POS systems and handling financial transactions
  • capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for 100% of the shift
  • willingness to work days, nights, and/or weekends as business necessitates
  • capacity to operate in a noisy, fast-paced environment with potential distractions
  • ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
  • adherence to dress code requirements

Job Qualifications

  • A talent for engaging with guests and generating excitement about the Dave & Buster's experience
  • proficiency in operating POS systems, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately, and reconciling financials at shift end
  • ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • must be at least 18 years of age
