The Social Bay Concierge role at Dave & Buster's is essential in crafting exceptional experiences within the social bay areas, which are specialized spaces designed to offer guests exclusive access to a curated mix of games and social activities. As a Social Bay Concierge, you are the heart of the guest experience, warmly welcoming visitors and guiding them through various game options and entertainment offerings. You will be responsible for managing orders related to the social bays using the POS system, ensuring accurate transaction handling including cash and credit card processing, and following strict sanitation and alcohol awareness protocols.

In addition to these duties, you will assist with setting up and breaking down the social bay areas during peak times or special events and ensure these areas are kept clean, organized, and inviting throughout your shift. Teamwork and communication are critical, as you will collaborate with other staff members to maintain a coherent and productive environment, contributing directly to high morale and operational efficiency. The position demands the physical ability to be on your feet and active for the entire shift, working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment, and handling up to 30 pounds of weight while navigating the venue.

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to read and communicate effectively in english
  • proficiency in operating POS systems
  • experience handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • ability to reconcile financials at shift end
  • ability to work days, nights, and weekends
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for 100% of the shift

Job Qualifications

  • clean and reset social bay areas as required
  • support other team members as needed
