As a Social Bay Concierge at Dave & Buster's, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable entertainment experiences within the lively social bay areas of the venue. Your primary responsibility will be to engage guests from the moment they arrive, guiding them through the various game selections and social activities available to ensure they maximize their visit. You will act as the face of the social bay area, providing friendly assistance, answering guest inquiries, and managing the seamless integration of food, drinks, and entertainment.

This role demands excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, handling transactions such as cash and credit card payments accurately. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Proficiency in operating POS systems
  • Experience handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends

  • Manage personal cash bank ensuring all financial transactions are precise
  • Follow all alcohol awareness procedures including responsible handling of intoxicated guests
  • Assess guest behavior and identify situations requiring management attention
  • Greet newly arrived guests promptly and courteously
  • Assist guests with game selections and provide instructions
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of all entertainment offerings
  • Enter social bay-related orders into POS system efficiently
  • Work swiftly and effectively adhering to efficiency principles
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of social bay areas for events or peak times
  • Help clean and reset social bay areas
  • Support other team members as needed
  • Responsible for all sales processed through personal POS keys and completing opening and closing duties
  • Participate in promotional activities and contests
  • Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by frequent check-ins and prompt responses
  • Maintain a clean and organized social bay station
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members
  • Actively listen to guest requests and communicate effectively verbally and via POS system
  • Adhere to dress code requirements
  • Perform reasonable accommodations as needed for disabilities
  • Work days, nights, and/or weekends as business necessitates
  • Operate in noisy, fast-paced environment with potential distractions
  • Read and write notes
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
