Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move and lift boxes of food/supplies up to 25 lbs
  • Show up on time to work variable hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must successfully complete our training program
  • Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger, local, state, and federal employment regulations
  • Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents
  • Smashburger participates in E-verify

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
  • Verify each guests order for accuracy, manage to-go orders, process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
  • Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guests have everything they need and that their experience has been perfect
  • Follow recipe and food safety standards to prepare and deliver shakes
  • Work collaboratively with others on the line and communicate effectively with cooks and managers
  • Foster and value a safe work environment by following personal and food safety and security standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area and restrooms at all times
  • Listen, communicate and work well with others in a busy restaurant environment
  • Uphold integrity and do the right thing even when no one is watching
