Job Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move throughout a large facility
- May involve working in both office and field environments during events
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in workforce scheduling, dispatching, or operations planning (stadium, arena, or large-scale event environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of labor budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Proficiency in scheduling software, workforce management tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick, data-driven decisions
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Develop, publish, and adjust employee schedules for all events, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Dispatch staff and contractors to appropriate zones and functions based on event needs
- Track attendance and manage last-minute changes to ensure adequate coverage
- Adjust schedule as needed based on additional customer requests and changes to operations plan
- Allocate tasks and labor hours based on event size, location, and complexity
- Coordinate with event managers, custodial, security, and facilities teams to align staffing with operational requirements
- Maintain up-to-date rosters of on-call and seasonal staff
- Prepare weekly and monthly labor forecasts based on event calendars and historical trends
- Monitor actual versus budgeted labor and overtime costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
