Job Description
Veho is a cutting-edge logistics company dedicated to shaping the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping, and returns effortless and seamless for everyone involved. Founded with a visionary mission, Veho is constructing a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure specifically designed to meet the dynamic and ever-evolving demands of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers alike. This tech-forward approach is powered by next-generation technology combined with a vertically integrated supply chain, which gives brands and their customers exceptional control over deliveries. By transforming the delivery process into an essential extension of the brand experience, Veho cultivates deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their consumers, significantly enhancing customer retention and lifetime value. Their rapidly growing client portfolio showcases some of the most recognized consumer brands such as Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy's, Sephora, and many more, demonstrating the company’s strong foothold in the ecommerce logistics sector.
Veho operates with a strong value-driven and merit-based culture, emphasizing team collaboration, competitive spirit, and impactful work that contributes to an iconic legacy. The company prioritizes its people, offering generous equity packages and rewarding high-impact team players with abundant opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. This deeply ingrained cultural ethos attracts motivated team members who are committed to winning, making an impact, and building a meaningful legacy in the logistics and ecommerce space.
The role of Site Director at Veho is a high-responsibility position that requires leadership of hub and spoke warehouse operations to meet strict performance goals and key objectives and results (OKRs). As a Site Director, the individual will focus heavily on continuous process improvement, profit and loss (P&L) management, and ensuring full safety compliance across multiple warehouse sites. The position demands exceptional leadership skills to coach, mentor, and guide site leaders managing individual warehouses, with a strong emphasis on succession planning and the development of future leadership talent.
Operationally, the Site Director will oversee multiple sites, drive cultural change towards operational excellence, and form strong partnerships with senior regional executives, including the Regional Vice President (RVP). Financial oversight includes full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses to meet or exceed financial targets. Analytical skills are critical in this capacity, as the role involves monitoring key performance indicators, generating actionable insights, and implementing network-wide strategic initiatives that boost warehouse throughput and efficiency.
On a day-to-day basis, the Site Director must maintain a visible presence on the warehouse floor, demonstrating both hands-on leadership and tactical execution. This often requires long periods of standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds during peak operational times or audits. Clear and effective communication with executives and frontline teams is vital to ensuring alignment and swift problem resolution.
Compensation for the Site Director role is competitive, ranging from $150,000 to $160,000 annually, complemented by an equity package and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) options and unlimited paid time off for exempt employees. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned professionals who are passionate about driving operational excellence and scaling innovative ecommerce logistics solutions. Veho, as a high-growth company, is looking for ambitious leaders eager to grow alongside it and make a significant impact in the industry.
