Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Demonstrated 5 years of experience in culinary field or 3 years with culinary degree
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Knowledge of proper knife use
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Excellent guest service skills
- Food Safety Certification or equivalent
- Ability to work with technology such as plate costing buffet system, CAFE system, KDS, Workbrain
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the culinary field or restaurant environment
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques
- Food Safety Certification or equivalent
- Ability to work well under pressure and troubleshoot issues calmly
- Passion for culinary arts and guest service
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook signature dishes with high standards of quality and presentation
- Lead and mentor kitchen team members in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Read, understand, and create recipes accurately
- Utilize culinary techniques and knife skills proficiently
- Provide excellent guest service and participate in service recovery when needed
